Based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic tale
of adventure, The Lost World brings the astounding
exploits of a band of adventurers to life. Determined
to prove the existence of The Lost World, dashing
adventurer and scholar Professor Edward Challenger
mounts a British expedition team consisting of a
mismatched group of enthusiasts, all with less than
selfless reasons for making the journey. Traveling
through the uncharted Amazon jungle to this
prehistoric plateau, the group encounters incredible
adventures: tribal headhunters, vicious ape men,
giant crocodiles, and terrifying dinosaurs!

Tas this the spot where your leg went missing?
Darn right! That big white wtaer beastie dismasted me in one fell swoop! One day I'll take me a team o' master harpooners and get me that white reptilian-yet-whale-like thing!
I doubt Sir Arthur had quite as much leg or cleavage in his version, but I believed he thought of it that way, the rotter! :-D
Rather enjoy that bit of cleavage in this version.....But back to the now!
As you know Don know has the boat
and knowing him for almost 30 years
now....I know he'd back an expedition!
I do indeed have the river
craft and the TARs to man
her...)
My agents will be in contact shortly...
Heads up lads, we're soon up the river to look for Sir Paul's
beastie!
Cracking Great Idea! As luck
would have it the Factor of
Sir Harry the world famous big
game hunter, just happens to
belong to my club. I'm sure
that Sir Harry's special
Elephant Gun may prove useful
in this venture.If Sir Paul
has no objections I'll see if
he is available for his expedition.

Useful would be an understatement!
Must be a way to get a Yankee
whaler named Ismael on this
little outing...)
Joe - no objections at all!
La Coloniale - he is probably that green lubber who just signed on with that cannibal islander harpooner - those shrunken heads are simply unchristian you know!
I guess we'll need a naturalist or some such boffin or other too.

I just received word from his Factor that Sir Harry would be delighted to go on this little jaunt.
