As it turns out American Naval Intelligence had
it half right, the British naval flotilla that set sail
from Singapore was a diversion. The actual fleet
has set sail from India weeks before. Sir Paul's
party made it's way to the highest peak in the
area to signal the fleet. The Royal Marines mean
while occupied a small island off the cost and
set up it's own heliograph. The preparations

for this were done many months in advance by
Sir David Donaldson, who scouted out this area
and staged his own party's death and was picked
up by the navy on the coast. Agreements were
reached with the Zumarrie king by Sir David and
finalized by Sir Paul. The Treaty of Friendship
declares that Her Majesty's forces will come to
the aid of the Zumarrie in the face of any attack,
and will furthermore drive the slavers out of their
stronghold and secure and guarantee the integrity
of the Zumarrie kingdom. In return the treaty states
that all non Zumarrie territory will fall under the
protection of Her Majesty's forces and all Zumarrie
territory and citizens will be returned to the
Zumarrie kingdom. Her Majesty's government
will also provide arms and training to the forces
of the Zumarrie kingdom.
