I think these particular figures are just right for VSF. I've been trying to pick up a couple to test paint and base before moving in to a new scale of VSF modelling and collecting.
As an aside - there are some fantastic enthusiasts sites for these available on the net, really good VSF backgound Blogs etc.
Keep an eye out or Google Praetorian Guard.
