Imperial Japanese Response

His Most Serene Imperial Majesty's Government,

Takes the announcement of the Imperial Russian

military planned expansion as a direct threat and

provocation.

With this threat in mind His Imperial Majesty's

General Staff has called up the reserves and

has decided to expand both the Imperial army

and navy.

The Imperial Diplomatic Service has opened

direct negotiations with the Sultan's government

in Constantinople for an emergency alliance. This

agreement is hoped to forestall Russian aggression

however, in the event that it fails would open a
two a pronged counter thrust against the Russians.

Russian Empire Roused!

For those that don't know, I've long supplied the "Red Hordes" to battle Dons' collection of miniatures (I do live to the north of him so it's only fitting). Well in keeping with our current
VSF fascination I went Czarist ;-)

It's far from a horde yet (only a few Cossack Cavalry and Regular
infantry units) but, I have time and the "Motherland" is vast.......

Stranger In The Mess!

As the traditional welcome to the Regiment new messers

are required to drain the Regimental Cup in one go, if

successful your fellow messers will share your mess bill

for a month. If you fail to drain the cup a bottle of good

Claret well be given to each of your mess mates and charged

to your account.

Game Layout By The Major General

With the recent acquisition of a few Chinese
(about 130)and the purchase of two War Junks
from the move Pirates Of The Caribbean At
World's End.I think I'll be giving this scenario
by the Ouargistan Group a try with The Damned
Human Race rules.
