Conclusion Of Wazulidi

  1. Looking at the map you see that one
    regiment of Wazulu managed to brake
    through the English lines. They were
    shot to pieces in short order.That
    was the high water mark of the Wazulu
    attack. The Red Xs are destroyed enemy The combined Nabyssinian and
    Wazulu forces took about 45% casualties and broke off and moved
    off to the north east to rejoin the
    main armies.

    Main problem the Nabyssinians
    had was not enough infantry to
    take broken ground in support
    of the Wazulu. The Brits had
    the high ground in a fortified
    position also.

    Pretty much, thing was with
    the large amount of cav the
    Nabyssinians had they really
    needed open ground. The Brits
    even dismounted their cav and
    put them in a firring line.
